  • Princeton University has a student body of 4,760 undergraduate students and 2,000 graduate students. The University provides more than 1 million gross square feet of housing space to undergraduates, more than 97% of whom live on campus.
  • The University provides more than 1.7 million gross square feet of residential housing to graduate students, faculty, and staff.
  • The University has 69 academic departments and inter-departmental programs and over 3.6 million gross square feet of academic space with approximately 80 academic buildings. Approximately 1,140 faculty members (including visitors and part-time faculty) teach at Princeton University, including 10 Nobel Prize winners and 22 MacArthur Fellows.
  • With almost 1.5 million gross square feet of administrative and support space, Princeton employs approximately 5,400 benefits-eligible employees (including full-time faculty), making it one of the region's largest private employers.
  • Princeton offers 38 varsity sports and 40 club teams and provides over 50 acres of fields for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, rugby and intra-mural sports. It has over 900,000 gross square feet of indoor recreational space, in addition to an 18-hole golf course and 23 outdoor tennis courts. Princeton Stadium, the largest venue on campus, can seat a crowd of almost 28,000 people.
